Big day, ears, big day. 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack is available in iTunes (and Spotify…and probably by now, Youtube). It’s out just in time for the 14th for all of you (Valentine) horndogs and (movie) super fans. Say what you will about the book (and eventually about the film), but how can you not dig this compilation of songs with a roster that features Annie Lennox (who wowed us all at the Grammys on Sunday), The Weeknd (who oozes sex), rookie and cool girl Jessie Ware, Ellie, B, Sia, Stones, Awol, Frank Sinatra (wut.)? Yes, I just listed practically all of the artists, but hey, you’ll understand why when you play this playlist through February. What’s good JT?

JJ Grey & Mofro anticipation
D’s favorite band is coming to one of our favorite venues in St. Louis, the Pageant, tomorrow night. I hadn’t heard of this band before I heard him gushing about them on multiple occasions. I have finally come to my senses and set up a spotify playlist so I am prepared for tomorrow. Here is a good jam to introduce them…stay tuned for a post about the show on Sunday. c.
