TGIF, yo.
I was so stoked to hear about this collab, but not so impressed by the sound on the first few listens; it resembles too much something I’ve already heard from both Chet and Banks. It’s since grown on me and now have my sights set on a 1998 tour…

It’s is definitely a way chiller Slightly Stoopid, but I’m already on board with it…channeling Hawaiian vibes. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the album, due out June 30, 2015. The band is on the road with the Dirty Heads, The Expendables, and Stick Figure for the Everything Is Awesome tour. Awesome.

Yes, that’s right, Brand New just dropped a brand new single–their first single in six years. The band released “Mene” today, after performing it live last week, including yesterday at Coachella. “New site, new video, new song,” they announced via Facebook, where they also have listed a fair share of tour dates this summer.
Many bands mainstream their sound during a hiatus this long, but judging by similarity of this new track to older material, it’s safe to say we can welcome Brand New back. Check out, “Mene,” now available for free download.
