Hey, guess what? It’s been 10 years since The Postal Service’s only album, “Give Up.” TEN YEARS!
To celebrate, Benjamin Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello, TPS’s duo, are reuniting! The men plan to release a delux edition on the album in addition to a few tour dates (some of which include Coachella).
Benjamin Gibbard released is solo album, “Former Lives,” in late 2012, so it doesn’t look like Zoey Deschanel’s ex and Tamborello will be hitting the studio anytime soon. Nothing has been confirmed, however.
Although Death Cab, The Postal Service, and Ben’s new stuff all sound incredibly similar, “Give Up” is still an album you can listen to in its entirety…ten years later.
