Bring Me Back My Rap

I feel like good rap these days is hard to come by, or maybe I’m just not looking hard enough.  I feel like most of what you hear out of rap these days is along the lines of “I’m rich” and “I got so many bitches” or “do the [insert stupid dance move name here].”  This is not to say I don’t like the songs, or bob along to them, or learn the [insert stupid dance move name here].  Hell, I posted one tonight.

However, I have not lost sight of the rap I like to listen to and appreciate.  I liked when Kanye and Jay-Z dropped “Watch The Throne” and I still listen to that album often.  But there is some rap that I don’t think will ever be topped.

Here are some of those for me.  a

P.S. I know I’ll be criticized cause some older rappers aren’t on here.  I don’t care.  These are a few of my faves.
